Obama Sues Trump for Plagiarizing Immigration Policies

In an already scandal-ridden presidency, the Trump administration has been hit with yet another blow. To the surprise of everybody who has avoided all news media for the past decade, it now appears that President Donald Trump may have copied former president Barack Obama’s immigration policies virtually word for word.

Many Americans have supported Donald Trump’s strict border policies, and his talking points on the subject have earned him immense popularity.  One MAGA fan that we interviewed summarized Trump’s words simply, “Even as we are a nation of immigrants, we’re also a nation of laws.” He went on to describe Trump’s patented plan for “putting more boots on the Southern border than at any time in our history and reducing illegal crossings to their lowest levels in 40 years.”

But in a discovery sure to rock his whole voter base, investigators have now found evidence that Trump stole his entire immigration plan from Obama, possibly through nefarious means such as listening to him talk. Footage of secret press conferences shows Obama stating that illegal immigrants “must be held accountable,” and investigators are currently combing through archives to see what other ideas Trump may have stolen.

Perhaps more shocking, it is now thought that the “cages” at detention facilities, for which Trump has gained such fame, may have secretly been placed there by Obama’s administration. One deflated Trump supporter told our reporter, “If it turns out that Trump wasn’t actually the one who first thought of using tear gas on illegal immigrants, I don’t know if I can ever trust him again.”
